I hope this posts finds you joyful and happy.
Are we finding joy and happiness in our everyday experiences? Are we looking into our mirrors and seeing the joy that is within each of us? Do we stop during our hectic lives to meditate and ponder the eternities? Do we see others in the same way God sees them? Doing these simple things will bring us joy and happiness.
Maybe we are waiting for the perfect body, or other outward feature before we will be happy or joyful. Are we waiting for that magical moment when everything in the universe aligns perfectly, before we find happiness and joy? I would like to suggest we can find happiness and joy now, today, right this moment. We can focus on having joy and being happy as we perform everyday activities that to some may appear mundane.
Feeding our bodies healthy foods may seem like a silly thing to compare joy and happiness to; however, we can find great joy and happiness when we are in good health. After all, we know we cannot buy good health. So, it stands to reason that if we focus on feeding our bodies good, healthy foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and seeds, we will find joy; even hidden treasures, as we become more vibrant, full of energy, and health. All this will lead to joy and happiness.
Keeping our bodies clean from harmful substances will also provide joy and happiness. Again, this may seem silly or trivial; however, a closer look at this concept will prove that by refraining from smoking or drinking we will have increased joy and happiness. Our bodies will be fresh, clean, and free from toxins which will pollute and poison our vital organs; leading to disease and possibly an early departure from this world.
Some may say they would be happy or joyful if it weren't for so and so, or such and such. Let me say that we make our own happiness my dear brothers and sisters. We cannot stand before the God who created us and say we did not fill the measure of our creation because our neighbor was unkind to us; or because our husband, wife, partner, child, etc. were responsible for our unhappiness due to their actions. We have to take responsibility for our own happiness; we cannot blame anyone for our lack of motivation to be happy in this life.
When we look into our mirrors; let us ask ourselves a few questions:
1. What will we choose to do today to make ourselves happy?
2 .What do we want for the person in the mirror, and what will we choose to do today to be happy and find joy?
3. What will we choose to do when others do not live up to our expectations?
These questions, and others you may ask, can assist in creating a joyful and happy now. Now is the time to find joy and happiness in our lives. Life is but a blink of an eye. We must act now to find the joy and happiness that is ours. God wants us, HIS children to be happy and joyful.
I pray that each of us can find that joy and happiness that is uniquely ours.
May we each find happiness and joy in the simple things in life today, now.

Be Thou An Example
Greetings Dear Friends,
I pray this post finds you all well and in the best of spirits. I hope each of you were able to accept the challenge I outlined in my previous post.
I was able to enlighten quite a few souls in my workplace following sincere pondering, and exhibiting a heightened sense of positive thinking. I found myself looking at others with a deeper love and understanding. I imagined they were struggling with one challenge or another, as most folks certainly are.
As I contemplated the trials they may be facing, I found a renewed sense of faith; a faith in humanity, as well as in my creator. How can I show my love for my creator? The answer: by showing love to HIS children; my brothers and sisters in this world.
We all face challenges daily; however, when we face them together, they do seem to be diminished. A good friend phoned me this evening. She was crying so hysterically, I could barely understand her words. She was calling to ask me to pray for her young nephew who was injured during a basketball game. She said she didn't know who to call, but felt compelled to call and ask me to pray for her nephew. I felt privileged to be able to call upon the spirits in Heaven to help this young man and his family during this difficult trial.
My friends, there is much we can do on a daily basis to help our brothers and sisters. We need only lead by example. Those of us who are like minded in the spirit have a responsibility, a duty, indeed a privilege to assist those who are struggling spiritually.
We who are strong need to lift those souls who have lost their way, who are discouraged, or who have given up on mankind. Are we our brother's keeper? Yes, brothers and sisters we are. Do we not all need someone in our lives to buoy us up, to lift our spirits from time to time? Do we not all need a kind word? A smile? A pat on the back? With so much violence, greed, and unkindness in the world; let us be the ones to invoke the spirit of peace, kindness, and love.
I know as we do this my friends, we will be blessed. We will feel the spirit of mercy come into our lives as we strive to lift those around us. I pray that we may all do something each day to make a difference in someone's life.
Peace to you and your families,
Your Heavenly Healer

All or Nothing
Greetings Friends,
I hope this post finds you all in good health. I have been thinking about a concept that I believe can be detrimental to our physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Let me explain.
The all or nothing concept, as I like to call it, is a concept that is black and white. As such, it does not allow for any deviation in our thinking patterns whatsoever. The all or nothing philosophy says if you are not 100% successful at something, then don't do it at all.
This type of thinking is detrimental to our physical health because it implies that if we do not participate 100% in an exercise program, for instance, then we may as well forget the whole thing. If we do not participate 100% in our practice of meditation, prayer, or whatever form of connection to the spirit we wish to call it, then we have failed. If we do not participate 100% in sharing our feelings, communicating our thoughts and ideas with loved ones, we do not have a successful relationship.
My message to you today is this. Something is better than Nothing. I believe we set ourselves up each day as we attempt to get it all 100% right. We are humans; and humans are imperfect. Can we strive to be 100%? Absolutely...however, if today, taking a walk, reading an inspirational thought, or performing a random act of kindness is what we do, then we need to be happy with ourselves.
Please do not misunderstand me. I believe we all have the capability of living up to our potential...and more. We are humans who have been created to fulfill all that is possible. We all have strengths and talents to share. We can share them with others who are on the path to perfection. But, this is the key. Some of us are closer to perfection than others. We need to be patient with each other, and most importantly with ourselves. Again it's the all or nothing mentality.
I have a challenge for each of us today. Please look into a mirror. Let's stare at ourselves for one full minute; and as we do so, decide right then, that today, we are going to look at the positives in everything we experience today. No matter what...find a positive aspect of EVERY EXPERIENCE today.
So, as we go about our day; let's each of us look around; at our children, our partner, our co-workers, our fellow human beings. Let's look at them in a different light today. Let's look at them as someone who is striving to do the right thing, trying to reach that 100% of something, the same way we are. Then, let's have patience with them when they don't quite make it. Most of all though, let's do that for ourselves.

Welcome
Greetings, and welcome to my blog. I hope you feel comfortable and safe while sharing ideas, thoughts, and feelings around healing.
Let me begin by telling you that I have experienced many challenges in my lifetime; many of which have taken my breath away.
When challenges arise, as they do for all humans, we must reflect on our standing in the universe. Are we grounded enough to accept the challenge that has come our way? Do we have a firm understanding of who we are, and what our purpose is? Do we have a strong support system by which to grab hold of until the challenge subsides?
Trials, or challenges, are as diverse as the human race. My grandmother said if we had our health we had everything. I believe that is a true statement. Sometimes we forget that having good health is much more of a blessing than all the riches of the earth. We cannot purchase our health, or the health of our loved ones.
By reflecting on who we are, what our purpose is, and allowing others to support us during difficult and challenging times; we can pause and allow ourselves to contemplate what the universe is trying to teach us. If we take the time to think on what is happening, we will be more focused on what we can learn from the experience.
Please feel free to share your thoughts on how you have overcome challenges in your life. Do you feel you are able to handle challenges better today, than say 5 years ago? What are some ways in which you handle stress?
I would like to leave you with this thought by an unknown author:
We are not human beings here, having a spiritual experience; rather, we are spiritual beings here, having a human experience.
